Success means to empower people to proactively act in support of the organization. Many leaders are self-starters - and that's why they have become leaders. The fact is that leaders share this attribute with only about 20 % of the population. Most people need guidance, challenge and control on a regular basis to be successful.
There is no "right" leadership style. Depending on the qualification and the current performance, different approaches are required.
